

Want a fast-paced, creative career in advertising or graphic design? Digital Design is the course for you!
In this program students will acquire a working knowledge of the basic fundamentals of design. These design basics apply to a variety of creative design career options, including graphic design, website development, multimedia design, digital photography and many more which will be explored throughout the program.
Digital Design students will have access to a state-of-the-art MAC computer lab and become proficient in industry-specific Adobe software programs. Students will prepare files for digital and large format printers, learn the functional uses of digital cameras and explore an abundance of tools specific to design. Students will develop important employability skills, including critical thinking and problem solving while engaged in the design process. Students will have an opportunity to earn college credit toward a 2 or 4 year degree in addition to a Sinclair $3000 scholarship. Valuable resume-building opportunities can be earned through participation in Business Professionals of America (BPA) and SkillsUSA student competitions.
