All media students will learn the fundamentals of audio and video production and performance, basic graphic design and photography, writing for a variety of media and project management. The emphasis in this hands-on class will be completing real media projects for real audiences and building a portfolio of work to show colleges and employers. Students will also participate in a variety of business and industry-based work experiences as well as leadership development opportunities and competitions. In addition, second year students have an opportunity to earn college credit.

Introduction to Film & Special Effects (CT260) and Introduction to Sports Media (CT160) are recommended for any freshmen or sophomores considering this course. Students may also join WKET, an afterschool radio broadcasting club.
